To say "authentic" would almost be an insult. This is "real" cook to order homestyle German cuisine. When your hear the meat hammer pounding out schnitzel to order you know it's going to be special. Every bite brings back memories of the time spent there from long ago. Great range of German beers and an honest laid back, don't even think of being in a hurry vibe. Gut? Ja!

EXCELLENT home made quality.We could hear the chef pounding out the pork for schnitzel & it was outstanding! Light breading, cooked without heavy oil & juicy, tender with mushroom gravy complementing, not smothering or hiding the pork.The "salad" with 7 small portions of side items was also excellent and could almost be a lunch by itself. Surely home baked bread, too!

bratwurst sandwhichs were great as well as to go service. Very friendly & helpful staff. Will definitely go again

This place has amazing food that never disappoints. Incredible, authentic German food. Get the schnitzel, the spaetzle, and the strudel. Wonderful German beer selection.

Quaint restaurant with attached German deli. The food was delicious and authentic! The restaurant is quite small so be sure to make a reservation.

Love the food here. Friendly staff, great service and excellent German food! I had the jeager schnitzel with spatzel and red cabbage with a mixed salad plate.

The meats are fresh, the food is prepared with true German artistry. If you want the real thing, not an Americanized version, then there is no where better to have a bite. If you plan on eating dinner there on the weekends, I recommend making reservations. The service is great and they have a full line of German biers on tap, served with a head of course.

Know what you are ordering. My dish was exactly what I expected, and well done. My partner's, on the other hand was a disappointment; in her words, an overpriced plate of French fries. I tasted her meat, and concurred. In there past I've suggested been happy with the meal, so take that into consideration

WOW ! A great German restaurant with an attached deli. The Jagerschnitzel was outstanding and the service was amazing. Good German draft beers too.

This pertains to the store as I have not been in the restaurant: Absolutely love the authenticity of this place. Fair prices for the fact everything is either homemade or imported. Staff is always friendly and it is always a comforting feeling to speak German in the area. Wonderful selections on breads, meats, cheeses, and more!

I've been here a couple times. We got some smoked ham from the deli and some apple cake. Started with potato leek soup served super hot and delicious. We both had sausage krout sandwiches... loved them. I believe I can eat my weight in the potato salad. This food is authentic, all made to order.
